The S2 Hohenholz Trail gently ascends southeast into the protected landscape of Hohenholz, inviting walkers and cyclists alike to explore one of the region’s most scenic natural areas. This circular route winds through tranquil woodland and open terrain, offering a sense of peaceful seclusion and connection with nature. Well-signposted and largely accessible, the path is ideal for a relaxed stroll, an active hike, or a leisurely bike ride. It also welcomes four-legged companions, making it a perfect option for dog owners seeking a refreshing outdoor escape. Along the way, the transition from open meadow to shaded forest creates a captivating interplay of light and sound, with birdsong and rustling leaves providing a calm rhythm to the journey. A highlight of the route, particularly in summer, is the Water Adventure Park located at the edge of the woodland. Here, visitors can experience a playful and educational encounter with water, adding a refreshing and interactive element to the tour. The S2 Hohenholz Trail combines accessibility, relaxation, and gentle discovery, offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural diversity of the Region of Hannover at one’s own pace.
