The path leads slightly uphill towards the south-east into the forest Hohenholz landscape conservation area. In summer, the water adventure park at the edge of the forest area is a particular highlight of this trail.

If you want to reach the southern shore of the Steinhuder Meer, you can take the Wunstorf/Luthe or Wunstorf/Kolenfeld exits from the A2. The B441 and B442 will take you to your destination.
In Steinhude we recommend you to use the large parking lot "Am Bruchdamm".
