The trail takes you to Kronsbergheide, where the Heidekönigin is elected and crowned every year in August. Follow the enchanting Lopau and Luhe heath streams on shady paths. Hike past the forest baths and campsites before taking a refreshing dip in the water treading pool. To the east of Amelinghausen, enjoy sweeping views of the "crown of the heath". Your hike continues along the Bockallee into the unspoilt landscape of the Hersebünte. Refreshments and refreshment stops are available along the Lopausee lake and right in the center of Amelinghausen. Along the way, you can discover exciting information about the Heath Queen in stamp boxes. Collect stamps for the Amelinghausen Heath Diploma and combine the tour into a short rally - fun for young and old alike.
