A good start for this coastal circular route is the "Windstärke 10" Museum. From here, you cycle through the harbor and the Grimmershörnbucht to the Kugelbake, the wooden landmark of Cuxhaven. From the dike, there is a great view of the Wadden Sea and the Elbe estuary.
Then continue along the dikes, through the coastal heath and the Werner forest towards the Wurster North Sea coast. The picturesque fishing harbors in Spieka-Neufeld and Dorum-Neufeld invite you to take a break.
At the "Obereversand" lighthouse in Dorum-Neufeld, the direction changes and heads inland back towards Cuxhaven.
The route passes the airship and naval aviation museum, the Aeronauticum, and the Ritzebüttel castle (a 14th-century castle). The route ends at the starting point, the "Windstärke 10" Museum.
