Canoe circuit Petkumer Klappe

The start of the route is at the Paddel-und-Pedalstation Rorichum. From there the route leads towards Oldersum. After about 15 minutes, the Oldersum harbor is reached. Here, keep slightly to the left and follow the waterway signs towards Emden. Paddle through Oldersum and after 15 min leave Lange Maar on the right. It then goes straight for just under an hour until Petkum is reached, at the first opportunity the route leads to the right and goes straight for about 30 minutes until the next right turn is taken. Shortly afterwards the eponymous swing bridge is reached, be sure to duck your head here. After 45 minutes the next significant junction is reached, a rest landing lies a bit up the left-turning Tief; otherwise, it goes straight ahead. After about 20 minutes an auto bridge is passed underneath and then a right turn is made. After almost 45 minutes a railway bridge is passed underneath. Here you are back in Oldersum. Shortly afterwards a rest landing is reached and just as quickly you are back in Oldersum harbor. From here, follow the route you came before, approx. 3 3/4 hours, back to the starting point of the route, back to the landing of the Paddel-und-Pedalstation Rorichum.
