BO1: Not for flatland hikers (1 km)

At the beginning of the tour, you walk on narrow sandy paths along the edge of an extremely steep valley. The slopes of this spectacular valley cut, created by meltwater streams at the end of the last ice age, are particularly densely overgrown with heather and juniper. The trail continues through a protective deciduous forest, on a stretch with so many gradients that you would certainly not have expected in the Lüneburg Heath! A particularly beautiful stretch through the unspoilt juniper heath sweetens the now following ascent back to the starting point of the tour.
