Short hike through the town of Bispingen - including children's rights trail

The starting point is Bispingen Touristik at Bahnhofstraße 19. You cross the road and walk behind the railroad on a small path towards the Heidepark. In the Heidepark you will see some small heathland areas with juniper trees, an old tree population and a sheepfold. Benches invite you to linger.

You leave the Heidepark at the parking lot on Borsteler Straße. Turn right, cross the railroad tracks and turn left onto Trift. You will pass some horse pastures and turn right onto the Heidschnuckenweg at the Luhetalbad.

Follow the Heidschnuckenweg for a short distance, cross the Luheweg road and continue straight ahead on De Luhpadd until you reach the small Bispinger pond. Continue along Hützeler Straße. At the Schwichtenberg bakery, turn left to the "Olen Kerk". From here, continue to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Anthony. Turn right back along the main road and cross the crosswalk. Turn left there and follow the signs along Schützenplatz to the tourist information office.

Discover children's rights through play

Since September 2025, a children's rights trail invites you to discover the "Kleine Heiderunde" in a new way. Developed by the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk and initiated by the Bispingen für Kinder e. V. association, it makes key children's rights visible and tangible along the circular route at ten permanently installed stations. Each station is dedicated to a specific children's right, briefly introduces it and offers a playful hands-on activity.
