RALLY AROUND THE THÜLSFELDER RESERVOIR
Station 1, Peace Knights
The sculpture "The Peace Knights" rises on the foundations of a former anti-aircraft gun emplacement from World War II.

Directions & Parking facilities
The Thülsfelder Reservoir recreational area is a quickly and comfortably reachable destination – whether for a day trip, a weekend, or a longer stay.
Thanks to the direct connection to the A1 and A29, driving from Oldenburg takes about 40 minutes. From Bremen and Osnabrück, it takes about 20 minutes longer.
The best place to start the round trip is at the Reservistenfort adventure playground, as there are sufficient parking spaces available there.
The Thülsfelder Reservoir recreational area can be reached by train from Oldenburg or Osnabrück. The destination station is in Cloppenburg.
The bus network in the Thülsfelder Reservoir recreational area is part of the Cloppenburg Transport Community (VGC) and the Bremen/Lower Saxony Transport Association (VBN). Additionally, there is the regional public transport service moobil+. The minibuses also serve request stops. Our tip: moobil+ has bike racks on board.
