For younger visitors, the tourist information office has crayons and pictures as well as coloring books so that older guests can take their time to look around and find out more.

Tourist Information Einbeck was evaluated by a certified auditor in July 2020 and awarded the certificate "Barrier-accessibility audited" by the inspection body for being partially barrier-free for people with impaired mobility.
It is possible to access the Tourist Information without stairs via a ramp (may. 6% inclination, total length 6 m). All doors for guests are at least 90 cms wide. Assistance dogs are permitted. The room is bright and glare-free. Name and logotype of the Tourist Information are clearly visible from the outside. The next barrier-free toilet facilities are at approx. 80 m from the Tourist-Information at the Sparkasse.

Take the train to Einbeck central train station. From there, walk along the street Dr.-Friedrich-Uhde-Straße crossing the square Möncheplatz to the pedestrian precinct. In the pedestrian precinct you continue straight ahead and walk towards St. Jacob’s Market Church. Pass the church on the left side and, behind the shop HC Parfümerie or rather in front of the bakery Manna Mia, turn left into the street Marktstraße (Market Street). After approximately 100 metres you will find the Tourist-Information on the left-hand side in the Eicke House.
By car:
Travel to Einbeck via federal road B3. After arriving in Einbeck, you may park your car e.g. at the parking lot on Möncheplatz, in the street Tiedexer Straße or on the parking lot Neustädter Kirchplatz. From these parking lots you can walk to Einbeck’s Tourist-Information in only 3 to 5 minutes.

Der DTV hat mit der i-Marke im Jahr 2006 ein Qualitätssiegel für Touristinformationsstellen eingeführt. Mit der Prüfung anhand der Mindestkriterien sowie weiterer 40 i-Marke Kriterien wird die Angebots- und Leistungsqualität der Touristinformation „mit der Brille des Gastes“ anhand eines standardisierten, bundesweit einheitlichen Kriterienkatalogs unter die Lupe genommen.
Die Tourist-Information Einbeck, wurde im September 2025 erneut für drei Jahre mit der i-Marke ausgezeichnet.
