It is located in the Osnabrücker Land in a slightly hilly landscape on the edge of the Maiburg. A species-rich forest with various tree species, which lies north of the Teutoburg Forest, is part of the property.
The baroque castle complex with castle chapel and orangery offer many cultural secrets. In addition to agriculture and forestry, there are many different animals on the fully farmed estate.
The DLG-awarded vacation farm is situated in a quiet, beautifully wooded location on the outskirts of the village on the Artland route in the immediate vicinity of Maiburg Castle. Comfortable ground-floor apartments for 4-8 and 10 people in the small and large courtyard, fully equipped, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace.
Ideal for families with children, toddler equipment. Vacation home approx. 200m from the farm, particularly suitable for groups. Bed linen and towels can be provided for a fee. Short vacation, various leisure activities e.g. horseback riding for children, table tennis, castle concerts, small library, riding, barbecue, playground and football field, hiking, fishing in the mill pond, ice skating in winter, bicycle rental, horse boxes.
