At the corner of Lüneburger Straße and Krummer Arm, at the end of the pedestrian zone, stands perhaps the most beautiful house in Bad Bevensen: the Ratsapotheke. It was built by a doctor in 1798 and became the town's first pharmacy in 1817.
The building was renovated in 1984 and the half-timbered façade was turned into a gem in the old town. The building is still home to a pharmacy today.
Some of the vines on the façade are over one hundred years old.
