Swimming regardless of the tide in the Butjadingen North Sea lagoon.

Laying on the beach on your North Sea vacation and waiting for the water to come back? Not with us! We have abolished the low tide and defy the forces of nature. The Butjadingen North Sea Lagoon is the only North Sea bathing lake in the world that is independent of the tide. Volunteers from the DLRG are on watch around the clock to ensure your safety while swimming.
And for relaxation, enjoy the atmosphere under the parasols or in one of the beach chairs typical of the North Sea

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the lagoon.

A photo is required for the issue. The season ticket is personal and non-transferable.

The Happy Hour prices are available in the months of May, June and September for admission from 3 pm. In the months of July and August there is a happy hour rate from 5 pm.

Information on reduced prices: Guests with at least 80% severe disability, guests with a guest card and Butjenters with ID receive reduced prices
