The Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park offers a fascinatingly diverse landscape: here, species-rich mixed forests alternate with flowering heath landscapes, idyllic river valleys run through forests and meadows, moorland and sand dunes characterize the region, picturesque avenues and charming villages set the tone. Every season has its own special charm here. Let us invite you to take an inspiring stroll through the region, but also to relax and unwind.

The Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park, covering 1500 km², is the largest nature park in Lower Saxony and one of the largest in Germany. The unique natural landscape of the region is protected and preserved here and at the same time made accessible to visitors with a well-developed and excellently signposted network of cycling and hiking trails. This allows you to experience nature up close and personal, away from the crowds of tourists.
