The European Moor and Climate Centre (EFMK) is a unique project all about moors, climate and cranes in Europe - a modern experience centre with a scientific background.
MOORWELTEN exhibition
In different ways, the MOORWELTEN exhibition presents the importance of the moors for our climate and our lives. Here you will also learn why migratory birds, especially the crane, are once again to be found in such large numbers in the Diepholzer Moorniedernung area. A concluding film transports visitors into the unique world of the moors.
MOORWELTEN Climate Park
The MOORWELTEN Climate Park attracts young and old to the outdoor area of the MOORWELTEN. Whether simply for recreational fun, as part of your environmental education programme or for a creative break during a conference in the MOORWELTEN. You can feel the bog with your feet - walk over boggy ground, stretch your toes in boggy water or walk over peat moss.
Bistro
For a little refreshment or refreshment, visit the MOORWELTEN bistro. You can round off your visit here with a variety of regional specialities. From the bistro terrace you can also keep a close eye on the Moorschnucken adventure world, where the little ones can let off steam.

Aus Wagenfeld kommend folgen Sie der Mindener Straße weiter nach Ströhen. Nach knapp 6 Km biegen Sie dann, der Beschilderung „Moorwelten-EFMK“ folgend, links in den Lagerweg. Nach 900 Metern fahren Sie rechts in die Zielstraße „Auf dem Sande“.
Aus allen anderen Richtungen kommend fahren Sie bis in das Ortszentrum von Ströhen. Folgen Sie der Mindener Straße in Richtung Wagenfeld und biegen Sie nach 1500 Metern rechts in den Lagerweg. Nach 900 Metern fahren Sie rechts in die Zielstraße „Auf dem Sande“.
Anfahrt per Bahn
Bahnreisende erreichen die MOORWELTEN über die Bahnhöfe Rahden (Westf) oder Diepholz.
Fahren Sie weiter mit den Liniebus Linien 133 (Rahden Bahnhof –Sulingen ZOB) oder 170 (Diepholz Bahnhof -Ströhen) bis zur Haltestelle „Ströhen (Wagenfeld) Abzw. Lagerweg“. Von dort erreichen Sie uns mit einem 1500 Meter Fußweg.
