Not only fish lovers will get their money's worth here. The educational fish trail along the Medem provides interesting facts at 15 stations. Information about the way of life and the size of the different fish species is provided on display boards. A beautifully situated foot and cycle path accompanies the approx. 450m long nature trail.
Numerous fish species such as eels, tench, carp and pike are native to the Sietland and can be fished. Fishing permits are available from the Tourist Information / Ihlienworth Citizens' Office, among others.
