Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover
Here, visitors glide through the savannah by boat on the Zambezi, follow the rainforest trail to the gorillas through Afi Mountain or observe elephants, tigers and leopards in the Jungle Palace. In the outback, kangaroos, emus and wombats await on an expedition against a glowing red backdrop.
The trail through the Canadian landscape of Yukon Bay brings back long-gone gold-mining romance. Wolves lurk with amber eyes, caribou and bison wander by, the hull of the cargo ship Yukon Queen brings the underwater world of polar bears up close. At Meyer's farm, adults and children can relax at the end of the day: the grown-ups in the rustic farm pub or in the beer garden and the little ones on a fantastic adventure playground.

Der Erlebnis-Zoo liegt verkehrsgünstig direkt am Stadtwald „Eilenriede“ in der Innenstadt von Hannover und ist erreichbar unter der Adresse:

Direkt am Zoo gibt es zahlreiche Parkplätze für PKW. Auch gibt es sechs Parkplätze mit E-Ladesäulen (11kW Ladeleistung je Ladepunkt) für E-Autos. Von 6:00 bis 0:00 Uhr ist die Nutzung des Besucherparkplatzes kostenpflichtig.
Bei hoher Auslastung können Sie auf das nahe gelegene Parkhaus am Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) mit rund 700 Stellplätzen zurückgreifen.
Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln:
- Buslinien 128, 134 und 900 vom Ernst-August-Platz vor dem Hauptbahnhof bis Haltestelle Zoo
- Stadtbahnlinie 11, z.B. vom Kröpcke nahe dem Hauptbahnhof, bis zum Endpunkt Zoo
Mit dem Fahrrad:
Der Erlebnis-Zoo ist sehr gut an das Radwegenetz angeschlossen und stellt zahlreiche Fahrradabstellplätze direkt vor dem Eingang und neben dem Parkplatz zur Verfügung.
