The Harly Tower stands on the summit of the Harlyberg and is a popular destination for nature lovers.
The Kräuter-August-Höhle in the Harly is a former sandstone quarry. Thick sandstones alternate here with thin layers of clay and sandstone. Wave ripples visible on the layer surfaces are evidence of the sediments being deposited in a sea more than 244.5 million years ago. A hermit living in the shelter of the cave is said to have told people passing by where certain medicinal herbs grow in the Harly and how to use them in return for small gifts. Legend has it that the cave is named after him.
