The Melle Automobile Museum at the foot of the Melle mountains presents "history on wheels": In the listed industrial palace of the historic Melchersmann furniture factory, you can experience an exceptionally comprehensive contemporary exhibition on the history of mobility.   

The car museum displays over 300 first-class vehicles from different eras on loan in constant rotation - making every visit a new experience. Discover the museum again and again!

An unusual concept:
Technical goods must be used regularly if they are to be preserved for the future. The vehicles on display in the museum are in working order and are used regularly. Many lenders have made their best treasures available for this purpose. The Melle Car Museum always has 200-300 vehicles on display.

Ongoing change: 
Thanks to its unique concept, the Automuseum Melle is in the enviable position of being able to show truly first-class automobiles and motorbikes from the beginning of motorisation right up to extraordinary exhibits from more recent times in constant rotation. Repeat visits are therefore always a new experience.
