Zu Fuß nach Langeoog

The 4 1/2-hour challenging mudflat hike begins in Neuharlingersiel. We set out two hours before low tide and, after walking 10 kilometers through mudflats and mixed mudflats with the incoming tide, reach the eastern end of the island of Langeoog. Along the way, we cross tidal creeks that can carry deep water. After a break at Meierei, a National Park partner business, the remaining 12 kilometers to the island village seem to fly by. An intense experience in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Wadden Sea—off the beaten path of the shorter tour routes. If you enjoy combining adventure, nature, and a physical challenge, this is the perfect place for you. Fitness and endurance are required.

Participants must be at least 8 years old and wear laced sneakers or neoprene boots. More information on clothing and equipment is available on the website and on the tickets.
