'How does the dictionary translate "evocation"? It is the process of bringing feelings, memories or images to consciousness. This program consists of works by the composers Schubert and Scriabin, discovering for us their highly personal and intimate allegories of their lives. These pieces actually show us the states of the composers' lives! For Schubert, the Piano Sonata D 960 was his last sonata, and he wrote it in the darkest period, namely the last months of his life. This work shows us the tragedy of death but also the beauty of his short but rich creative output. The Preludes op. 17 and the 3rd Piano Sonata by Scriabin touch other states of the soul in us: these works make us think of love, sorrow and pain and similarly sensitive phases of his delicate and also dreamy life. Although both composers died young, they have become immortal through their music.'
