Every summer, the ecumenical church service is celebrated on the mudflats off Schillig.

"One of the most unusual church services in Germany" is what the NordwestZeitung newspaper called it. Under the musical direction of Peter Gallikowski, brass players from all over Germany come together for an ecumenical service in the mudflats off Schillig.
