Vortrag: Die Gründung der Rhauder Fehne

In 1769, the Rhauder Wester-Fehn and the Rhauder Oster-Fehn were officially founded. The entrepreneurs and financiers Hinrich Thomas Stuart, Johann Heinrich Heydecke, Rudolph Heinrich Carl von Glan, Alrich Weyers Ibelings, and Wille Janssen had joined forces to form the Rhauder-Fehn-Compagnie and had acquired an area of 1,500 Diemat from the Prussian state under a hereditary lease.
