UTOPIA – Kultureller Abschlussabend (Wandelwoche Lüneburg 2026)
What will the utopia of a good life for everyone in Lüneburg look like in 2055?
The cultural closing evening of “Wandelwoche” invites us to take a look into the future together. The theater group l’Utopia will present scenes and texts from their production and sketch out visions of a livable Lüneburg in 2055. The theater club at Scharnebeck High School will bring its own visions of the future to the stage. The improv theater group The Improv Advocats—Advocates of Serious Humor—will work with the audience to develop further ideas and surprising scenes for the world of tomorrow. The evening will be accompanied by live music from Robert Breves.
A creative and inspiring conclusion to “Wandelwoche” (Transformation Week)—featuring theater, music, and improv, and the shared question: How can we achieve a good life for everyone—today and in the future?

A good life for everyone is possible—if we engage in dialogue, share ideas, learn about different perspectives, and work together to find solutions.
Through >50 events organized by >60 Lüneburg-based initiatives, the Transformation Week showcases what’s already happening in Lüneburg, encourages people to get involved, and creates spaces for connection, exchange, and collaborative experimentation. It addresses the big questions of our time: climate and sustainability, democracy, housing and mobility, social justice, and diversity—and always includes how we talk about and debate these issues with one another.
How can we engage with one another respectfully and as equals? How do we keep the conversation going, even when we disagree? And how can we work together to shape a future worth living?
Transition Week invites you to try exactly that.
