Würde sich eine Hexe flinta* nennen? – 50 Jahre Feminismus in Lüneburg (Wandelwoche Lüneburg 2026)

Knowledge is power. Feminist knowledge strengthens and empowers. On a feminist city tour, six groups from Lüneburg, former women’s affairs officers, and the equal opportunity officer share stories of struggles, experiences, and achievements spanning five decades.
The tour highlights the contributions of women and FLINTA individuals to Lüneburg’s city history, offers new perspectives on familiar places, and invites participants to actively help shape social change in line with feminist values.

Feminist City Tour of Lüneburg
a collaboration between the groups LIVT, the Women’s Political Initiative FIL, Lilü, feffa e.V. – Coordination Offices for Women & Economy, the Equality Offices of the Hanseatic City and the District of Lüneburg, and fem.trails.

The Lüneburg Transformation Week will take place from October 30 to November 8, 2026.
A good life for everyone is possible—if we engage in dialogue, share ideas, learn about different perspectives, and work together to find solutions.

Through >50 events organized by >60 Lüneburg-based initiatives, the “Wandelwoche” showcases what’s already happening in Lüneburg, encourages people to get involved, and creates spaces for encounters, exchange, and collaborative experimentation. It addresses the big questions of our time: climate and sustainability, democracy, housing and mobility, social justice and diversity—and always includes how we talk about and debate these issues with one another.

How can we engage with one another respectfully and as equals? How do we keep the conversation going, even when we disagree? And how can we work together to shape a future worth living?

Transformation Week invites you to try exactly that.

A festival of transformation under the motto
“A good life for everyone is possible.”
