Guided historical tour

Evenburg Castle offers a glimpse into the life and daily routines of a count’s family in the 19th century. The second part of the tour includes a visit to the counts’ crypt, which is located in the former patronage church—built in the 13th century—and is not open to the public. Visitors can admire two restored ceremonial coffins from the 17th century. They stand as silent witnesses to the social status of the family members buried there.
