The historic cemetery - stories between the graves
How did Melle's burial grounds come to be moved out of the town center? This guided tour takes you to the cemetery, which was opened in 1842 and became the final resting place of numerous Mell personalities over many decades. Between old gravestones and listed architecture, you will learn more about important citizens, religious tensions - and about the goal of preserving this place as a cultural site for future generations.
The tour starts and ends at the cemetery and lasts approx. 75-90 minutes.
