The Wangerland gastronomy cooperation "Die Seesterne" sets up its kitchen on the mudflats and before the tide comes in, it's all over. But until then, roasting plaice in the mudflats is a unique culinary highlight in Wangerland. Guests and locals enjoy their lunch with all their senses; their feet in the mud, their gaze directed into the distance, the sound of the musical program in their ears, the smell of the plaice fillets in their nostrils and the delicious potato salad on their tongues.
