WARMDUSCHER are no ordinary band - nor do they want to be. The six-piece collective from London around Clams Baker Jr, Benjamin Romans Hopcraft and Adam J. Harmer is a walking experiment, a mixture of punk-funk, disco, hip-hop and anything else that comes to mind. Their latest album "Too Cold To Hold" is proof that they prefer to break things up rather than settle down: polyrhythmic grooves, jazzy influences, a hint of Gqom from South Africa - and in between, their distinctive, dirty funk. Their songs are chaotic but precise. This is also due to the fact that WARMDUSCHER did the production themselves this time - no outside filter, just pure band energy. The result is a sound that is unpredictable, playful and yet danceable. Live, WARMDUSCHER are an experience: sometimes crazy, sometimes hypnotic, but always full of energy. The audience becomes part of this wild mixture of music, theater and controlled chaos. For the Popsalon Festival, this means: absolute dance duty and the guarantee that no evening with WARMDUSCHER will end the way you expected it to.
