For years, STEINER & MADLAINA have been inspiring audiences with charisma, melancholy and energy. Their trademark: polyphonic vocals, poetic lyrics and a unique blend of folk intimacy and indie drive. The songs strike an immediate chord because they combine clarity and friction - sometimes delicate and fragile, sometimes big and uncompromising. After the intimate "Nah Dran" phase, they are more courageous and multi-layered. The arrangements open up, the sound gains depth; with expanded instrumentation and string ensemble, the new pieces unfold their full grandeur without losing their directness.
