SOMEBODY'S CHILD are known for their dynamic sound and raw, heartfelt lyrics. Led by frontman Cian Godfrey, the Dublin-based band have built a reputation for electrifying live performances, playing to sell-out crowds across the UK, Ireland and continental Europe and sharing the stage with Bloc Party and Kings of Leon. Determined to evolve beyond the conventions of indie rock, Somebody's Child are constantly pushing their creative boundaries. On their second album "When Youth Fades Away", recorded in Connecticut with Grammy-winning producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol), they explore new musical territory, influenced in part by electronic pioneers like Kraftwerk. The album reflects the realities of growing older - not with nostalgia, but with a hunger for reinvention. As Godfrey puts it: "There is no Somebody's Child - it's just a figment of our imagination that allows us to process our lives."
