Pferde- und Fohlenmarkt Varel

The city of Varel invites you once again this year to its traditional horse and foal market, which will take place, as usual, on October 3, German Unity Day.
As in previous years, the market will be held on the paved grounds on Karl-Nieraad-Straße, between the “Kita am Wald” daycare center and the Varel municipal services office.
Parking is available nearby at the district service center. The market begins at 8 a.m. with the arrival of the animals.
Horses, ponies, donkeys, and rabbits are permitted at the horse and foal market.

In addition to animal breeders, many merchants, restaurateurs, and market vendors from the region also participate in the horse market.
