The Einbeck City Museum invites you to an "After Work" event during the Orange Days, featuring an art installation
The UN’s “Orange the World” campaign has been raising awareness about violence against women and girls for years. To mark the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” on November 25, numerous events will once again take place this year to raise awareness of this issue. In Einbeck, various institutions, such as the StadtMuseum, are participating in the Orange Days.
“Take a Stand!” Just like last year, this is the title of the art project at the StadtMuseum, which is aimed at anyone who wants to take a stand against violence and in favor of self-determination and equality. Adolf Leschonski from the Kunsthaus Einbeck traces life-size silhouettes of visitors onto sheets of paper. Once cut out and individually decorated, these figures represent all people who take a stand and show solidarity with women who have been victims of violence. Anyone who wants to get creative can color and design their very own “Nana” figure on paper.
As always, admission and a drink after work are free!
