Offene Parkführung "Evenburgpark klimastabil"
Drought, low precipitation, and prolonged heat waves are taking a toll on our old trees. The funding program “Evenburg – Climate-Resilient: Old Tree Preservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Historic Garden” has been underway since May 2025.
Come see the measures we’re taking to support the trees and nature so they can withstand extreme weather conditions. The park also shows the effects of climate change that are already visible. On this guided tour, you’ll learn how we mow our meadows, care for the trees, and what that has to do with our climate. Registration is required by calling 0491-99756000 or directly at the castle.
Meeting point: on the castle island, in front of the castle
Number of participants: max. 20 people
