Ökomaile 2026
The environmental festival Ökomaile will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 14:00 - 23:00 at the Ziegenbrink Community Center, Hauswörmannsweg 65, 49082 Osnabrück. Visitors can expect a varied program with many stands and activities. There will be live music, poetry slams, dance performances and drama on stage. Of course, vegan snacks and drinks will also be available. Admission is free. There is something for everyone: children, young people and adults.
The youth-initiated environmental festival has been organized every year since 2016 on a voluntary basis by a young team in cooperation with the FOKUS e.V. association.
From 2 p.m., numerous initiatives, organizations, institutions and groups such as book.a.vegan, Gemüsegärtner, NEO - Nachhaltiges Engagement Osnabrück, Osnabrück Klimaneutral, Solidarischer Aufbau Osnabrück and others are on site and encourage people to get involved and get to know each other with information and activities.
Viva con agua is organizing running events in which everyone can take part and raise awareness of the topic "Water supply is a human right!" - so pack your running shoes. In addition, results from the workshops "Water means life", which were created in advance in cooperation with the Museum am Schölerberg with pupils from the Heilig-Geist-Schule, will be shown.
There will also be plenty of music. Starting at 2 p.m., the musician NAOMI will perform. Keit, Hertzcasper, semia, Nur Drama and Flora will be playing from 5:30 pm.
With the kind support of the Friedel & Gisela Bohnenkamp Foundation.
