Be there when the medieval market at the Osnabrücker Ringwall opens its doors again this year for the 6th time from August 14 to 16, 2026! Once again this year, you can expect the popular attractions that have delighted our visitors for years: several fantastic bands, fabulous jugglers, spectacular swordsmen, exciting knight tournaments and a variety of traders, restaurants and taverns!
We are pleased to announce that we will be lowering our admission prices next year and making them more family-friendly. We are also inviting children's and disabled organizations to experience an unforgettable, free day at our medieval market with their protégés again in 2026.

Once upon a time, there was a place where time seemed to stand still. A place that whisked people away to a bygone era, full of adventure and fascinating stories. This place was the medieval market at Osnabrücker Ringwall, and this year we are already ringing in the sixth round.
We have made you happy in the past years, and now we are looking forward to welcoming you to our market again in 2026. But this time we have prepared something very special for you: a big jousting tournament on horseback with a fire show and a big stage!
The marketplace with its colorful hustle and bustle stretches over an impressive area of more than 3.5 hectares. The huge field as a parking lot and the large campsite, for all those who want to really experience this journey through time.
The highlights of this year's market are :
Knight tournament and fire show on horseback : Admire a breathtaking jousting tournament with up to five majestic horses and be thrilled by a spectacular fire show on horseback late in the evening.
Stage full of medieval sounds : Enjoy the rousing atmosphere on our stage, where traditional dances, captivating fire shows and impressive musical performances take you back in time.
The various merchants have a wide range of soap, sweetmeats, honey products, wooden goods, swords, combat equipment for young and old, herbal salt, berry wines, handicrafts, jewelry, incense, drinking horns, goldsmiths, bone carvings, leather goods, garments, pottery and much more. With this line-up, we want to whisk you away to a different world for three whole days and offer you a fantastic journey through time.
Our protagonists offer a jousting tournament, fire show, traditional dances, archery & crossbow shooting for young and old, sword fighting in a specially erected battle arena, magic, juggling, falconry, children's carousel, children's amusement park, an extensive music program and many other surprises.
In addition, a variety of restaurateurs offer culinary delights, from hearty to hearty, vegetarian and even vegan. To quench your thirst, you will find a wide variety of enchanting drinks at the various pubs, and there are also delicious and healthy drinks for the little guests. There will be plenty of seating and shaded areas throughout the grounds so that you can relax in between and feel completely at ease.
In order to present the exquisite supporting program, we will set up a stage to give all the actors and artists an appropriate podium.
The campsite will open its gates on Friday, 14.08.2026 at 11°°, so that campers can set up in peace before the event and start the weekend in a relaxed manner.
Dixi's and a washing trough are available around the clock.
