Meer Radio Seebühne - Oldies

This year, the Meer Radio Seebühne will be anchored on the shores of Lake Steinhude on six Saturdays between July and September. Steinhuder Meer Tourismus GmbH (SMT) has put together a varied program with a wide range of music together with Meer Radio.
The program starts at 4 pm with a Meer Radio Sundowner - the warm-up for the evening. The live program starts at 6 pm. Delicious food and drinks are available at every event. Admission is free. 

20:00 - TESTICLES
The Testicles were founded in 2009 by Julian Hinze and Steven Palumbo in Wunstorf,
with the clear aim of sharing their passion for rock music and consciously setting themselves apart from the
mainstream. Right from the start, it was clear: "If we form a band, then
we're going out on stage!"
The band presents rock with rough edges - without a lot of frills, but with
all the more passion and authenticity. For visitors to a Testicles concert
this means: no pop, no top 40 hits and above all no pop songs. Instead,
the audience can expect a rousing performance that will immediately
transfer to the audience.
The line-up of Testicles has remained *almost* unchanged for *almost* 15 years:
- Steven Palumbo: lead vocals and guitar,
profession: marketing and media consultant, tasks in the band: booking, PR, set planning
- Julian Hinze: lead guitar, profession: administrative manager, tasks in the band: finances,
set planning
- Matthias Riemann: Bass guitar, profession: emergency paramedic, duties in the band:
hygiene officer
- Oliver Ohrndorf: drums, profession: managing director in event management, duties in
the band: being the new drummer
These four musicians are not only bandmates, but above all very good friends. Their
close bond is reflected in their stage presence and contributes significantly to the
special atmosphere of their performances.
Over the years, the Testicles have built up a loyal fan base that grows with every
concert. With around 100 performances at city festivals, corporate events,
weddings, private parties and self-organized concerts, they have proven their
versatility and passion. Particularly noteworthy is their
role as openers for the Hamburg rock band Ohrenfeindt, which further cemented their reputation in the
rock scene.
The Testicles stand for authentic rock that goes straight to the heart and legs.
Whoever attends a concert by this band can be sure: They don't do things by halves here
- the Testicles are a party!
