Meer Radio Seebühne - Irischer Abend
This year, the Meer Radio Seebühne will be anchored on the shores of Lake Steinhude on six Saturdays between July and September. Steinhuder Meer Tourismus GmbH (SMT) has put together a varied program with a wide range of music together with Meer Radio.
The program starts at 4 pm with a Meer Radio Sundowner - the warm-up for the evening. The live program starts at 6 pm. Delicious food and drinks are available at every event. Admission is free.
THE HOOCHIGANS - are a 5-piece PubRock band from Hanover.
They are shaping the PubRock genre by fusing traditional Irish music, their own compositions and the best pub hits of the last 100 years.
The repertoire includes not only the classics of CCR, Johnny Cash, The Pogues, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners, Tina Turner, Slade, Eagles and many more, but also songs from a wide variety of genres such as Journey, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Papa Roach, Bryan Adams, Simple Minds, Dropkick Murphys, Mumford & Sons, Brandi Carlile, Linkin Park and many more. By blending traditional and modern instruments, the Hoochigans sound like "Whiskey On The Rocks...With No Ice" and the seamless transition from music to entertainment makes every event an unforgettable experience.
