Mariuzz & Groenland - Westernhagen & Grönemeyer Tribute Show
"Westernhagen meets Grönemeyer" is the motto for the third day of this year's Waldbühne summer shows. On Saturday, July 11, the "MARIUZZ" Westernhagen tribute show with Peter Zahn on the mic and the frontman of the Grönemeyer tribute show "GROENLAND" Bernd Wuttke will provide a unique open-air concert experience with almost four hours of live music. The line-up for the 2026 summer shows is complete with this ride through the best hits of the two German rock and pop greats. Tickets are now available in advance.
Since 2012, the "MARIUZZ" show has been traveling across Germany to follow in the footsteps of Marius Müller-Westernhagen. Whenever possible, the ensemble seeks to be as close as possible to real Westernhagen music in order to get as close as possible to the original sound. Accordingly, Westernhagen drummer Charly Terstappen will be on board for the performance at the Waldbühne in Kloster Oesede. Hits such as "Sexy", "Willenlos" and "Wieder hier" will of course not be missed. The performance is paired with a perfect show, a detailed stage outfit and the typical Westernhagen gestures - it doesn't get any closer to the original.
The Westernhagen tribute alone could easily fill an entire concert evening, but that's not all. In reality, Marius-Müller Westernhagen and Herbert Grönemeyer are not on stage together - but they are at the Waldbühne summer shows. Bernd Wuttke from the band "GROENLAND", invited by "MARIUZZ" for this special evening, will make sure of that. Wuttke is one of the best Grönemeyer cover voices in Germany and should provide the perfect counterpoint to the Westernhagen show. The artist will also be performing a mixture of the German rock great's best songs, from "Flugzeuge im Bauch" and "Männer" to the soulful ballad "Ein Stück vom Himmel". A real "must" for every Grönemeyer fan.
The show starts at 7 pm. Admission is one hour earlier.

A ticket costs 32 euros. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Sedlmair bookshop or the Osnabrück Tourist Information Office. Tickets can also be purchased by telephone on 0421 36 36 36.
