Maiwoche

Every year from the second Friday in May, Osnabrück's city centre is transformed into an open-air stage: the May Week, one of the largest city festivals in the north-west, attracts around 600,000 visitors to the City of Peace. For ten days, the festival offers a varied programme on several stages and delights with musical and cultural highlights that enliven the city centre. The May Week is also a culinary experience - from fresh May punch with strawberries to a cheese grill wrapped in bacon. 

The city festival is once again organised by Marketing Osnabrück GmbH in cooperation with the city administration, area operators, the showmen's association and the town twinning office.
