The afternoon begins with a talk on the life and work of Walter Kempowski. Following the reading, there will be plenty of time to tour Haus Kreienhoop, including its large garden.
The Literary Afternoon in Detail
2:30 to 3:45 p.m.
The event begins with coffee and cake. A tour guide will provide an introduction to Walter Kempowski’s life and work.
4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
This is followed by a reading from the works of Walter Kempowski. The reading will be given by one of the tour guides, a fellow author, or a surprise guest. A discussion will follow the reading. A tour of the house and archive will also be offered.
