Kinderlaternenlaufen im Stadtwald mit den Jägern und ihren Hunden

Children’s lantern walk in the city forest together with hunters and their dogs. After the hunting horn players give the signal, the procession sets off from the weaving mill toward the city forest. The lantern walk has been a fixture on Varel’s calendar of events for many years and is unique in its own way; just seeing the many lights of the colorful lanterns in the forest gets you in the mood for the dark season and all its beautiful aspects.

After the walk, the hunters from the Varel Hunting Club treat the children to hot sausages.
