Dramatized City Hall Tour (1:30 p.m.)
Our historic city hall is celebrating its anniversary in October. To mark the occasion, the “Leer Tour Guides” are once again offering a very special tour. In this dramatized tour, the tour guides take on the roles of the key figures who were involved in the construction of the new town hall between 1890 and 1894 and who played a decisive role in shaping today’s Leer landmark.
In seven humorous scenes—from the entrance to the grand ballroom—visitors will learn many interesting and curious facts about the town hall’s history and gain a vivid insight into the period of its construction more than 130 years ago.
The tour starts every 30 minutes and lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Meeting point: Town Hall steps, Rathausstraße 1, 26789 Leer
The first tour begins at 1:30 p.m. The last tour takes place at 3:30 p.m.
Duration: approx. 60 minutes. No registration is required
