The association "De Hooksieler" invites you to the "14th Hooksieler Herbstleuchten" at the old harbor on Saturday, 11.10.25.
Supported by the Hooksiel theater group. Children can be imaginatively made up. At the same time, it is possible to take a tour of Hooksiel in a historic Frisian carriage. In addition to culinary delights based on apples (freshly squeezed apple juice, apple pie, potato pancakes with apple sauce, warm apple juice with Calvados), home-baked cakes, fish rolls, fried fish and bratwurst are also on offer.
Furthermore, freshly caught crabs can be purchased directly from the cutter "Trotz" from 12 noon - while stocks last.
Some artisans and market stalls will enrich the autumn festival.
From 6 p.m., "Beltane", the folk band from Wilhelmshaven, will perform. With a colorful mixture of Irish/Scottish songs and tunes from many eras, listeners will be immediately transported to the beauty of the Emerald Isle or the wildness of the Highlands. As darkness falls, the harbour will be atmospherically illuminated - with professional support from Le-Lichttechnik.
The proceeds from the "De Hooksieler" association will be used to stage the festival.
