The new program by Helene Bockhorst is an ode to life.
Black humor meets colorful outfits and silliness as she confronts uncomfortable questions: Why is a man who is enjoying life a bon vivant, while a woman is simply called a slut? Should family traditions always be upheld, even if they involve depression and unhealthy coping mechanisms? What can I do for a better world – without making too much of an effort? And am I at least one of the more interesting cases for my therapist?
In her open and honest manner, she takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster ride, where humorous everyday observations find their place alongside life-changing experiences. Between the lines, it addresses the question of how to maintain lightness and hope even in difficult times.
A program about trauma, depression, resilience – and about the fact that one can always find a reason to laugh, even when life doesn't go as one wishes.
