Helden der Meere: Vortrag von Christian Weigand

Christian Weigand is giving a captivating lecture on heroes of the seas at the Greetsiel National Park Center. 

Christian Weigand is a keynote speaker, moderator, and author. The environmental and
resource economist conducted research at the University of Kiel on the state of the oceans. He noted:
Although everyone was aware of the situation, the oceans are continuing to deteriorate. That’s why
he founded the marine conservation organization “Blue Awareness” in 2018. Since then,
Christian Weigand has been giving talks at companies, events, and schools, where he
inspires his audience to turn knowledge into action. Since early 2021, he has been producing and
hosting the podcast “Heroes of the Seas.” In it, he speaks with renowned
personalities about their adventures in the oceans. In 2023, the book
“A Life for the Ocean” was published, in which he and his co-author Florian Sturm tell 10
