Age? No reason to be quiet! HEAVEN CAN WAIT CHOR - Benefit concert for the 20th anniversary of HelpAge Germany
To mark the end of its anniversary year, HelpAge Germany invites you to a special benefit concert in the OsnabrückHalle on June 14. Under the motto "Age? No reason to be quiet!", the evening will be all about the joy of life, social participation and the dignity of older people worldwide. On stage: the HEAVEN CAN WAIT CHOR from Hamburg; an ensemble that has been filling hearts and homes for over ten years.
The choir consists of around 35 singers aged between 70 and 93, who perform current songs of the grandchildren's generation with impressive energy. Their interpretations change the perspective on well-known hits and give them depth, humor and emotional power. With the new program "Jetzt erst recht!" (Now more than ever!), the choir also presents for the first time specially composed songs about topics such as happiness, the meaning of life and growing older, always authentic, never preachy and full of life wisdom.
The choir became famous through sold-out shows and the award-winning film "Heaven can wait - wir leben jetzt" (Heaven can wait - we live now). The new program combines wit, energy and thought-provoking moments and shows how diverse and powerful old age can be. Visitors to Osnabrück can expect an evening that will move, inspire and encourage in equal measure.
The benefit concert marks the end of an important year for HelpAge Germany: for 20 years, the organization has been working to ensure that older people around the world can live in dignity, security and self-determination. Together with local partners, HelpAge strengthens the participation, health and protection of older people - especially in crisis regions and low-income countries.

HelpAge Deutschland, based in Osnabrück, is the only German organization that works exclusively for the rights and needs of older people in the Global South. The aim is a world in which all people can grow older in dignity, security and freedom, today and in the future.
