Hartmut Dierks – „Mein Lebenswerk“
Hartmut Dierks – “My Life’s Work” Querbett
Exhibition from October 4 to 25, 2026
Opening: Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
With the exhibition “My Life’s Work,” the Kulturring und Kunstkreis Rhauderfehn e. V. is dedicating a very special exhibition to its founding member, Hartmut Dierks.
Hartmut Dierks has been closely associated with the Kunstkreis since its founding in 1981. For more than 45 years, he has been an integral part of the organization’s activities, helping to shape its direction and, together with his wife, demonstrating great personal dedication to art and culture in Rhauderfehn.
Now, Hartmut Dierks is putting his own artistic work in the spotlight.
Under the title “My Life’s Work,” he presents a selection of works created over the course of many years. The exhibition showcases the wide range of his artistic output. On display are works in various media—from oil paintings and watercolors to pencil drawings.
Visitors can therefore expect more than just an exhibition of individual paintings. “My Life’s Work” offers a personal glimpse into the artistic development of a man who has accompanied and helped shape the Rhauderfehn Art Circle since its inception.
Hartmut Dierks is one of the founding members of the art group, which was established on May 20, 1981. For decades, he was not only active as an artist himself but also dedicated himself to exhibitions, events, and the work of the association. Over the years, his works have been on display at various exhibitions and art events in the region and beyond.
Thus, the exhibition “My Life’s Work” combines personal art history with a chapter in the history of the Kulturring und Kunstkreis Rhauderfehn e. V.
We cordially invite you to get to know Hartmut Dierks and his diverse body of work and to join us in looking back on many decades of creative work.
