Arrival
From the direction of Hanover:
Coming from the north, leave the A7 at exit 59 (B443/Laatzen) and take the direction of Pattensen/Sarstedt. After approx. 9 km, take the B3 in the direction of Elze/Alfeld (Leine). Leave the B3 in the direction of Gronau (Leine).
Coming from Göttingen:
Coming from the south, leave the A7 at exit 69 onto the B3 in the direction of Hameln/Einbeck/Alfeld (Leine). Drive north on the B3. Leave the B3 in the direction of Gronau (Leine).
To ensure that everything runs smoothly, the market square will be fully closed for the weekly market from Thursday, 01.12.2022, 15:00. From the east, the market square can be bypassed via Junkernstraße and Blanke Straße.
Parking
For visitors to the "Gronauer Nikolausmarkt", parking is available on both days at the museum (Junkernstraße 16), in the Kuhmasch and in the parking lots in Bahnhofstraße and Junkernstraße.
Public transportation
Travel to Banteln by train.
Banteln is conveniently located on the main north-south railroad line. Deutsche Bahn AG and Metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH trains run hourly to and from Banteln.
From Banteln train station, take the 661 bus to Gronau (Leine)
