At the center of this extraordinary program is the music of Frédéric Chopin– both in its original form with some of his masterpieces for solo piano, as well as newly discovered in the special arrangement of the sonata for cello and piano for the instrumentation of bass clarinet and piano. Chopin's musical world is framed by impressive and energetic compositions by Polish composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Grażyna Bacewicz,Witold Lutosławski, and Joanna Stepalska-Spix.
 
The Duo Kermani-Gentili is known for its original programs that combine musical discoveries with exciting background stories. In their concerts, the two musicians take the audience on a journey through the cultural and historical connections of the works and provide brief insights into the lives of the composers, the creation of the pieces, and special musical details.
