Double Feature: Kult-Film „Radio Rock Revolution“ & Dick Taylor

On October 17, Bramsche will be all about rock ’n’ roll! The Universum movie theater is dedicating an entire evening to rock music with an exciting double feature: First, starting at 6 p.m., the cult film “Radio Rock Revolution” will be shown—this musical comedy revolves around a pirate radio station that rebelled against the BBC in the 1960s and broadcast rock ’n’ roll from a ship. The real-life inspiration for the fictional plot was the pirate radio station Radio Caroline.

Things will get spectacular right after that, when, starting around 8:30 p.m., legendary guitarist Dick Taylor takes the stage at the movie theater for a live performance. Taylor is a founding member of the Rolling Stones, which he formed in 1962 together with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Starting in 1963, Taylor enjoyed great success with the band “The Pretty Things”—and on October 17, he’ll be performing primarily their songs together with the German rock cover band TALLYMAN. There, he performs with Jürgen Pluta, another well-known bassist—Pluta enjoyed success in the 1970s and 1980s with, among others, the Krautrock band “Wallenstein.”
Advance tickets are available for 27 euros (at the door: 29 euros) via the movie theater’s website: https://universum-ev.de/tickets.html
