Hi, I’m Erna the coastal tern, and today I’m going to tell you my story about the rough and wild North Sea.
The Wadden Sea, a true adventure paradise, isn’t just a World Natural Heritage Site—it’s also a huge playground for birds! Here, we can watch all kinds of birds all year round. Just imagine—over 50 different bird species come and go—some are here to rest, others fly by for just a short while, and still others visit us completely by chance. In our story, we follow Erna, the cheerful coastal tern. She’s full of a spirit of adventure and flies with her friends through the vast Wadden Sea, where she experiences all sorts of exciting things. Who knows, maybe she’ll even encounter a bird you’ve never seen before! In our children’s story, we’ll follow the adventures of Erna the coastal tern.
